V8 here we come

just been to see an engine for the CJ, its a 360 from a 1981 FSJ last run 8 yrs ago, but will be run again before it comes out of the doner car.

found a few other treasures while there....













there was a load of other UK/US/USSR WWII stuff but he wasn't happy about photos as they not for sale

Had interview at 1o/c, a bit so-so, will have to wait on that one,

Spent the morning at a 'private' breakers yard, bloke supplies film makers with cars and military vehicles so lots of interesting stuff, the CJ6 is open for offers, but he knows the value of the bits, which is more than the whole so might be a more than Birty value

There are times I wish my mechanical ability was more than putting the correct fuel in......this is one of them...
