Nope! Noise has gone with the front propshaft removed.

The double cardan joint doesn't have any play in it but it doesn't "roll" as smoothly as I would have expected it too. Could it be worn but only noticable under driveline stress i.e. you can't feel it's worn when trying to feel any play by hand? Is it best just to rebuild the D/C joint anyway?

What about the miniscule amount of play in the yoke coming out of the T/C? Should I be concerned about that?

Thoughts?

At this point don't give the TC Yoke play (unless it's hanging off) a second thought - some are just like that.

Thanks for that, I'll rebuild the DC joint and see what happens.
