got soaked fitting a front hub today  :011: sorted the garage out a bit then helped a guy down the road with his 4.7 WJ.

Showed him how to get trouble codes using the key so he dont have to pay next time

Bloody weather, turned out real nice later on

started prepping the 03 for MOT and sale today.

Took off a few bits for spraying and cleaning all the off road shit from underneath, greasing and checking as i went.

Thought i had got a real good tan until i had a bath and washed it all off  :greggmo:

it was a sunny workshop today, been busy

Had 2 tyres fitted to Paul's Astra. Looking at those I think 33's are a bargain just for how much rubber you get for your money !
Then went to have a look at a couple of new rides for Gail, V nice  :icon_winkle:
Expected to find a leaky rear wheel cylinder on 97, found its axle oil so halfshaft seals have gone, cleaned up and adjusted brakes that side
Other side wheel cylinder was leaking so replaced, also found play in wheel bearing so have done a couple of jobs and found more to do
Might bite the bullet and replace bearings and seals both sides

Now its on to the 53, prep for MOT as it's gotta go soon  :icon_sad: :icon_biggrin:

another sunny day and lots of jobs done

97- removed radiator and jet washed through, replaced viscous fan coupling which had around 4mm of play, idler pulley next to alternator and found small idler had lots of play so swapped with one from 98. Re-filled rad with anti freeze, K seal and water, seems OK

Good news on the idler pulleys is that it looks like a standard 6203RS bearing so will try to press them out tomoz and fit new

Also replaced broken screw in door check strap loop

03- replaced rock rails and indicator guards with freshly sprayed bits  :greggmo: :greggmo:

spent the last 2 days on 97 for MOT

NEw Front hub bearing, tightened and greased ball joint on end of drag link and all front suspension.

New rear axle bearings and oil seals. Hoping that will do it although i still got some play in that drag link, fingers crossed as i have work elsewhere  :icon_winkle:
