was under the red truck today and had a good look at the factory skid, can see problem with cat if going flat skid, will need mods to get it higher

apart from that , as long as raising the transmission doesn't cause vibes, looks simples

Nice ones dont use plastic ................. Get one from MORE 'Mountain off road' they use alloy 1" pucks and black poly body mount lit and new hardware. Also do 1" engine mounts..................

Or you can piece your own together I have done both routes and there ain't much diff in price .just hastle and trips out............ So would go with MORE if I did it again.

They do the engine mount lifts.............they is the bollix..................I have one on the '1 Ton' allows better angle of dangle..........................

But if you have after market air intake/ Kand N stuff/ it will rub on underside of hood................ tis why I have dood vent/scoop thingy.

I did one on the 1 Ton but........................ its a big heavy sheet of 6mm and er weighs a lot..................

Gonna redo .............. cant find the link but a few on Pirate tend to use builders bushes............... Basically the bushes similar to your front rear shackle bushes...................... welded to the frame and tube to brace across. Then you can use very thin sacrificial alloy plastic breadboard stuff (that has a techy name)............job done.................

I think i might have some of that nylon sheet knocking around. I got some to make rear corner armour for Barbie but never got round to it.

I can't promise it's still there, but I'll take a look at the weekend.
