The best thing to do for the AC compressors is to dissasemble them and pack the bearings full of grease. The little connecting rods and swash plate bearing will last much longer this way.

Managed to get some time at the Jeep today so I finished off the welding, got the bracket painted and reinstalled everything. I had my finger crossed when I fired her up, but everything was lined up right and it ran smoothly. Now just for my tank and a bit of plumbing and its all done. Oh and I got my manifold completed so here's a pic of that also.

Time for an update, things been pretty slow, and I need some skilled welding done thankfully one of the giys in the club here can tig weld
I have now got the tank mounted and plumbed to the fire wall and the manifold installed and ready for connection.

Got it finished today,
Did a couple of trial runs, my tyres (33x12.5x15) from 10 PSI to 30 PSI (at idle 800 rpm) in 1 min 40 sec, (at 1800 rpm) 60 sec flat. Now that isn't bad is it.

Looks good. What (yellow) hoses are those? I've always had problems with engine heat with the ones i use on my OBA.

They are just a heavy duty double wall air hose. I just brought them off an online air compressor warehouse. €3.50/m
