WJ 4.0l 1999 Grand Cherry
« on: September 21, 2006, 09:48:39 PM »

Fantastic car but giving problems.
Most time it starts and travels, engine cuts out momenterily after about 400m, blip the throttle and vehicle runs fine.
Also very lumpy on tickover, to such an extent vehicle can rock.
Problem seems to be getting worse as I am now experiencing what seems like a missfire when engine  is coasting when travelling at speed.
Have changed 02 sensors, main dealer reccomends changing PCM. expensive!
Any help appreciated.
